Therapist Shaz
Are you mad? It’s wonderful you’ll never look back!
Theses are things that I was told before going to do my treatment from speaking to people that had it done as well as general people
We’ll my first treatment is done. Upon going into the treatment room I was petrified, nervous and anxious. And to make matters worse i'm scared of needles.
So I hopped onto the bed and tried to relax and chatted away to the therapist. She applied an anesthetic cream to my eyes for 15min and asked me questions. I started to relaxed and then I heard a noses we’ll I was ready to jump off the bed.
I managed to calm myself down and then she started – well I thought I was going to have a heart attack , Not from the pain but from the fear I was feeling : ) She opened up the skin – no there was no blood and IT WASN’T PAINFUL. It was slightly irritating.
She than applied more anesthetic and started treatment.
At the end I still wasn’t in any pain, I just felt like keeping my eyes closed. On the slide show I took photos through my first treatment (please don’t let the swelling scare you).
I was one of those clients that swelled:) I was swollen for about two- three days and I carried on with work as normal. ( For our client we are making our make up days on a Friday so that if it happens to you , you’ll have the weekend. Plus we’ve add on some icing of the area after treatment to help)
My conclusion
Is that as long as it’s the right therapist you’ll be okay so always ask to see there work.
The treatment is terrifying but that’s what we make it, once they are working you’ll be fine and I personally didn’t feel any pain, it was just irritating but my one eye jumped all over the places well that’s at lest what it felt like to me. After all the swelling and discomfort from the treatment I love my eyes and i’m looking forward to my next and last treatment.
